Update on Clubhouse Access
To comply with Covid-19 Guidelines when using our Clubhouse

Track & Trace

The Club is legally required to collect details of those using the Clubhouse; the details must be kept for 21 days. Please enter your name and phone number on the contact sheets whenever you go into the Clubhouse – even if you are only ‘popping in’ for 5 minutes or simply going in to use the toilet. You also need to provide your details if you go into the changing rooms – where you will also find a contact sheet. As we discovered last Friday, the contact sheets have an important role to play when we are alerted to the fact that someone who has used the Clubhouse has tested positive for Covid-19.

Face coverings
Face coverings must now be worn in all indoor areas of the Clubhouse and the Pro Shop. That means that they must be worn in the changing rooms and if you visit the Office. The government’s rules indicate that face coverings may be removed “in bar and restaurant areas for the purposes of eating and drinking”.

Limits on numbers
New rules come into force on 14 September concerning social gatherings of more than 6 people. Clubhouses are allowed to accommodate multiple social groups each containing up to 6 people – but these are not allowed to merge to form larger groups. What this means for us in practice is:

• Take care to avoid being in groups of more than 6 people in the Clubhouse (including the decking area), on the course or on the practice green.

• Please do not move tables or chairs from where they have been positioned by the staff.

One-way system
Our one-way system remains in force: enter via the hallway and exit via the decking area.

An important part of the government’s ‘Hands – Face – Space’ advice is the need to clean your hands regularly. Please use the hand-sanitiser when you enter the Clubhouse.

Lounge Bar
Please place your order at the designated (and screened) ordering point at the bar. Once you have collected your order, please sit at a table; don’t linger around the bar.

Changing rooms
• Record your details on entering the changing room.
• Wear a face covering and maintain social distancing from others in the changing room.
• Limit the number of people in the changing room to a maximum of 4 at any time.
• Do not attempt to use the showers.
• Only one person at a time to use the toilet area.
• Leave the toilet area as you would wish to find it. Clean up after use – and don’t leave a hygiene risk for others or for our cleaning staff.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Best wishes and stay safe
