Dear Member,

We are delighted to announce that, following the re-opening of the Bar on 4 July, we are now ready to move to the second phase of the Club's recovery plan. Catering facilities will be available from Tuesday 21 July.

There will be plenty of notices to help us to understand what to do. But the main details are as follows:

- Opening Hours:
- Catering: 1030 to 1630, Tuesdays to Saturdays (commencing 21 July)
- Bar: 1030 to 1630, 7 days a week.

- Access to the Clubhouse: a one-way system is in operation. Enter the Clubhouse via the main door and proceed into the Lounge Bar. Exit the Clubhouse via the steps leading down from the patio or via the ramp. [The ramp has been repaired and should be available for use again from 18 July.]

- Procedure on entry: on entering the Clubhouse you will be required to sanitise your hands (using the sanitiser provided at the entrance). At the same time you will also need to sign in - this is in order to comply with 'track & trace' requirements.

- Closed areas: access is still limited to the hallway, Lounge Bar and patio. Other areas (including the changing rooms and dining room) remain closed to members; please do not attempt to go there.

- Seating: the seating has been set up to comply with government guidelines on social distancing. Please do not move the tables and please stick to the maximum number of people allowed at each table. Do not move extra chairs to your table. Since the seating capacity is somewhat limited, please be ready to make way for others after an hour or so.

- Toilets: would Ladies please use the Ladies toilet close to the Lounge Bar. Gentlemen: please use the Disabled toilet close to the Lounge Bar.

- Items available: the re-opening of the kitchen on 21 July will allow us to offer food. The menu will be limited initially, especially while we monitor the level of demand.

- Placing an order: the staff will take your order once you are seated and your food/drinks will be delivered to your table.

- Payment: payment may only be made by card - either your bar card or a Credit/Debit card. No cash will be taken.

- Hygiene: as you will all readily understand, hygiene is paramount. The staff will be wearing full PPE. Tables will be cleaned and sanitised after each use. You will be required to use hand sanitiser on entering the Clubhouse. Please also do your bit to help by observing the procedures in the guidance notes carefully and by cleaning the toilet area after use.

The Board and the staff are delighted that our first phase (re-opening of the Bar) has been successful and increasingly popular. Of course, the costs associated with re-opening the kitchen present the Club with a risk - but we hope that members will quickly come along and support this venture by making use of our bar & catering offering. We will keep the arrangements (including the menu and the opening pattern) under review over the next few weeks.

With the following restrictions: Preferred Lies. Clubhouse open from 12.00pm-6.00pm. A mizzley start to Wednesdays vets competition. Thicker fog in places so please be sensible and only play when safe to do so
