past capts 17The sun shone for the Past Lady Captains Day at Yelverton Golf Club so that the ladies were able to enjoy their round of golf before sitting down to a splendid tea. One of our past lady captains, Helen Harris, had made the journey from Surrey, and her presence was much appreciated. The peregrine trophy had previously been donated by Sue Pearman in memory of the much-loved and respected Past Lady Captain June Smalley who had done much for Yelverton Golf Club and the Ladies Section in particular.
The picture shows Sue Pearman on the left presenting the winner, Teresa Holt, with the trophy.
